Branding is at the heart of any powerful and recognizable company. It’s been long overdue that I created a vision statement, narrowed in on my target market and creating branding templates. I’ve seriously been the cobbler with no shoes! I’ve been so heavily focused on my clients’ success that I haven’t slowed down to take myself through this process…until now.

I’m extremely grateful for the feedback from friends and family. I’d also like to take a moment to credit the incredible Chiraya Dharma who teaches an extremely helpful course on branding – Manifest Your Brand – Anchor the Dream of Your Business. I highly recommend it to anyone who gets stuck. This woman is a magician. No joke.

I’d also like to take a moment to thank the talented graphic designer Lindsay Geitz who is not only extremely talented, but a lot of fun to work with.

Bubblegum and Duct Tape comes from the Urban Dictionary definition and from my vision of”Playful marketing for the engaged creative.” Where does the dinosaur fit in? Well first off, I needed a mascot (those of you who know me well understand my obsession with animals and pets). Secondly, I was always pissed as a young kid that only boys were supposed to like dinosaurs. Lastly, and most importantly, it’s fun! It’s whimsical. It’s a reminder that huge massive dragon-like beings roamed this earth and we are only here for a short time. Let’s make it memorable, fun and engaging. One story at a time.
